2009: Assigned to Albany on 1/8/09…Made his Firebirds debut as the starting quarterback and went a perfect 5-for-5 passing for 65 yards and 1 touchdown, but left after the first series with an injury and did not return on 3/27/09 at Mahoning Valley…Missed Week 2 through Week 5 due to injury… Returned to action in Week 6 and led the Firebirds to their first win of the season with 278 passing yards and 6 touchdowns on 05/02/09 against Mahoning Valley…Led the team to it’s second straight win in his second game off the IR, throwing for 302 yards with 6 touchdowns and rushing for two touchdowns; the offensive player of the game scored on every single possession until the fourth-quarter when he ran-out the clock on 05/09/09 at Bossier-Shreveport...
